Specifications

Bernard is a technical coated fabric for outdoor applications and high-specification projects where waterproofing is a fundamental requirement. The coating (55% polyester / 45% polyurethane) guarantees water penetration resistance above 50,000 Pa, with performance maintained above 20,000 Pa after 50 washes.

Despite the complete barrier to liquids, the 155 gsm structure ensures breathability above 500 g/m² in 24 hours, essential for thermal comfort in upholstery applications. The safety profile is comprehensive: Bernard is intrinsically flame-retardant (certified BS 7175 SECTION 3 CRIB V, IMO Part 8 Cigarette + Flame Test for marine applications and TB-117 Interliner), with permanent antibacterial and antifungal properties (ISO 20743-2, ASTM G 21-96).
